Data deletion
How to remove
your data.
Last updated 6 October 2026
Studio only holds what it needs to publish for you. You can remove any part of it yourself, at any time, or ask us to remove all of it. There is no charge and no reason needed.
Disconnect one social account
Sign in, open Connections, and press Disconnect next to the account. This deletes our stored access token for it at once, along with the account’s name, id and picture. Studio can no longer read from it or post to it.
Posts already published stay on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn or YouTube — they belong to you there, and you can delete them on that platform as usual.
Remove Studio from the platform itself
You can also revoke access from the platform’s side. Our token stops working immediately:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → find the app → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Active → Remove.
- Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions → Remove.
- Google / YouTube: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Remove access.
Doing only this leaves an unusable, encrypted token in our database. To remove our copy as well, disconnect the account in Studio, or email us and we will.
Delete everything
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my data”. We delete your account, workspace, projects, posts, rendered images and videos, scripts, figures and every connected account’s token, and confirm by email when it is done — within 30 days, usually the same week.
Encrypted database backups are kept for 14 days and then destroyed, so within 14 days of deletion no copy of your data remains anywhere.
What we hold from Facebook, Instagram and Threads
For each account you connect: its id, name or username, profile picture, an encrypted access token, the ids of the posts Studio published for you, and — for those posts only — figures such as views, likes and watch time. Nothing else is read, and nothing is sold or shared. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
