What you’d use

The honest version. Most of these are good at what they are for, and two of them are cheaper. Here is what each one is, what it costs, what it is best at — and where Studio is different.
Studio, in the same terms
A line becomes a finished card in your palette, your two typefaces and your mark — laid out from tokens, not assembled by hand, so the tenth post matches the first. A caption is written for each of five platforms. One press sends it to all of them, or to the schedule.
Free to start. ₹1,499 a month for one brand that posts regularly; ₹4,999 for many. Rendering is never metered — images are laid out in HTML and screenshot by a real browser on our own machines, not bought per picture from an image model.
| Tool | What it is | Price, Sept 2026 | Best at | Where it leaves you |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Canva + a scheduler | A design editor with a large template library and a basic content planner. | Canva Pro $18/mo, then $6–19/mo for Buffer or Later on top. | Anything is possible: every layout, every format, a million templates. | You lay out every post by hand, and the tenth one drifts from the first. The scheduler covers a few platforms; most people run a second tool. |
| Buffer | A scheduler. Write the caption, attach the image you made elsewhere, queue it. | Free for 3 channels; $6 per channel per month after. | Cheap, simple, the broadest platform list (Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile). | It does not make the image. The card still comes from a design tool. |
| Publer | The cheapest scheduler: bulk and RSS scheduling, link-in-bio, a Canva integration to pull designs from. | Free for 3 accounts (no X); $5 per social account per month after, $10 with AI and analytics. | Price, and never leaving Canva. | It makes no image. The card still comes from Canva, by hand. |
| Later | A visual planner built around the Instagram grid, with link-in-bio. | $18.75/mo (annual) for one social set; $37.50 for two. | Seeing the feed before you post it. | Same gap: the picture is made somewhere else. AI credits are metered. |
| Predis.ai | AI generates a post — copy, image and hashtags — from a prompt, then publishes it. | $32/mo Core (≈$19 annual) for one brand and ~1,300 credits; $79/mo for four brands. | The whole post from one line, plus competitor monitoring and reports. | Every picture costs credits, and every picture is generated rather than laid out — the same brand looks a little different each time. |
| Simplified | An all-in-one: design editor, AI writer, video editor and scheduler. | Free tier; Pro $24/mo, Business $40 per user (annual). | One subscription for everything a small marketing team touches. | Breadth over depth. Brand consistency is on you, in the editor, every time. |
| Contentdrips · PostNitro | AI carousel makers, mostly for LinkedIn, with brand kits and some scheduling. | $12–21/mo per user (Contentdrips); $10 per seat on a team (PostNitro). | A carousel from a text prompt in a minute, in your fonts and colours. | Carousels first, single cards second, five-platform publishing rarely. |
| Bannerbear · Placid | Template-rendering APIs: mark parts of a layout dynamic, generate assets by API call. | From $49/mo for 1,000 images. | Programmatic images at scale, for developers. | You bring the templates, the code and the publishing. Each image is metered. |

What we do not do
Said as plainly as what we do.
No free-form design. You cannot drag a box. There are fourteen layouts, three tones and four formats, and they are built from your tokens. If a post needs a shape none of them has, you need a design tool.
No stock photos, no generated pictures. Your own photographs, your mascot art, or type on paper. Nothing is invented.
No analytics. History shows what went out and whether each platform accepted it. Reach, likes and follower curves are the platforms’ to show you.
No video editing. A Reel from a card or a carousel, yes — a slow push, the line fading in, the mark at the end. Cutting footage, no.
No autopilot. A model can draft; a person approves. Every publish is one you pressed.
Five platforms. Instagram, Facebook Pages, X, Threads, LinkedIn. Not Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube or Bluesky — yet.
Try it against the one you use now.
Rendering is free; you can see your brand on a card before deciding anything.
